Design Technologist duties include:

* Responsible for the day to day sign off process and architectural detailing suite ensuring clear, technically accurate and timely responses are given

* Liaise with, provide support to and attend meetings with both internal and external stakeholders

* Create and build a comprehensive drawing directory which is always live and technically accurate

* Assist in testing regime to ensure offerings have complete technical substantiation

* Support in the management, storage and control of project packs, templates, reports and other critical design data

* Keep abreast of competitors technical offerings and benchmark best practice

Design Technologist requirements:

* Architectural Technologist HND or suitable career experience in Architectural or Structural Design. An excellent understanding of architectural and engineering drawings is essential

* Experience in both 2D and 3D AutoCAD

* Tekla and/or Revit experience

* Excellent analytical skills and technical problem solving

* Good organisational and communication skills, this role requires working cross functionally and collaboratively with many stakeholders
