Job Title:Precast Slinger

Location: Worksop (Large Precast Concrete Manufacturing Facility)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Precast Slinger to join our dynamic team in our large, busy factory based in Worksop. As part of a leading manufacturer in the precast concrete industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe movement and placement of heavy precast units within our production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely sling and direct the lifting of precast concrete elements using cranes and other lifting equipment.

- Work closely with crane operators, production, and yard teams to ensure smooth handling and positioning of units.

- Conduct thorough checks of lifting equipment prior to use, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

- Interpret lifting plans and communicate effectively with team members to coordinate lifts.

- Support general factory operations when required, including assisting with production and loading.

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a Slinger/Signaller, ideally within a precast concrete or construction environment.

- Valid CPCS Slinger/Signaller or equivalent qualification (Essential).

- Strong understanding of lifting operations, including safe rigging practices and load security.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

- A proactive and safety-conscious attitude.

- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
