InstaStaff are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join the licencing division of on of the largest councils in the UK.

You will be based from home in a hybrid role, and you must have taxi licencing experience.

The role will initially be for 3 months, but there is a high possibility it will be extended after this period.

The duties of the Administrator will be:

Processing and issuing hackney carriage and private hire licences

Processing applications for new and renewal licenses, preparing licenses and plates, and ensuring compliance with licensing standards
Ensuring licensed vehicles and drivers meet safety standards and comply with legislation
Checking and maintaining confidential records, including driving, criminal, and medical records
Responding to inquiries and complaints from the public and industry, and providing advice on licensing requirements
Investigating complaints and taking enforcement action, such as issuing defect notices
Working with other agencies and departments, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders

The ideal Administrator will have:

Experience within a similar role
Taxi licencing experience is essential
The salary of the Administrator will be £13.20 per hour

The hours for the Administrator will be Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
