Timbateq is a leading bespoke and specialist joinery manufacturer and installation company. We provide leading edge bespoke joinery to various commercial sectors and high-end residential markets.
The role
An ideal role for a person with business management support experience in a construction or similar industry.
Responsibilities
As a business support manager you will be responsible for:
* Providing health and safety guidance and advice to the employer and employees.
* Supporting with human resource management including recruiting, staff performance, training and general contractual and/or policy reviews.
* Identifying improvements to company processes and procedures.
* Working with management to deal with any escalations of financial management including identifying any funding (if required) available to the business.
* General office support with documentation, systems and co-ordination (including SAGE software, training will be provided).
* Ensuring company procedures are adopted and general governance of the company information and documents.
* Maintaining company websites and social media sites with any active marketing to clients (growth opportunities and business development).
* Reviewing company financial controls including spend and stock controls (including contracts and cost savings).
Role requirements
* A strong business support management background within a similar industry.
* Be commercially astute and work with the business to achieve it’s goals and aspirations.
* Be organised to manage differing priorities of the business with attention to detail.
* An excellent communicator (both written and verbal) and be adept at dealing with new and existing client and supplier relationships (and internal team).
* Be proactive and reactive to change, and leading the way with others.
* Proven experience in the responsibilities outlined.

Salary is based on 20 to 25 hours per week (with hours/days to be agreed)
