Registered Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Home Manager ideally with a Registered Nurse PIN and/or qualification in level 5 or higher in Leadership & Management to oversee the daily operations of our nursing home. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing care homes, supervising staff, and providing excellent patient care services. Most importantly, they will have a sense of business nous and acumen to steer the home towards high and consistent occupancy levels.

Duties - Manage day-to-day operations of the home, including quality assurance processes, resident care and administrative tasks. - Supervise and provide guidance to care staff, ensuring delivery of high-quality care to residents. - Develop and implement care plans for each resident, considering their individual needs and preferences. - Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents, addressing any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. - Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere within the care home, promoting social engagement and emotional well-being among residents. - Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards for residential care.

Experience - Previous experience in managing a nursing home - Proficient in supervising staff and coordinating care services - Knowledge of medication administration and patient care best practices - Experience in dementia care is desirable
