Role Overview:
Our client requires apprentice-trained, 18th edition qualified electricians to work in London, Surrey, Kent, and Essex, with occasional travel required for installing electric vehicle charging points at domestic and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow work instructions, electrical designs, cable calculations and installation guides to carry out the proper installation of EV chargers from various charger manufacturers.
To liaise with our Qualified Supervisor and provide updates relevant to the EV charge point installations for their projects.
Adhere to site specific RAMS and Programmes of Work.
Complete NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificates using the NICEIC online portal on a tablet device.
Handle all necessary hand over documentation for each project, ensuring it is fed back into the QS/PM.
Any other reasonable request in line with this role given by the Qualified Supervisor.
Essential Training or Qualifications:
A recognised electrical apprenticeship with a minimum 2 years’ experience or.
C&G L3 Electrotechnical Qualification
C&G 2382 BS7671: 2018 amended 2022 (18th Edition)
Full Clean Driving Licence
JIB registered is a must (Gold Card) Desirable:
C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection and Testing
C&G 2919 EV Charging Qualification (or equivalent)
Experience with DC chargers ranging from 50kW upwards of 400kW DC would be beneficial
