My market leading client have an exciting opportunity to join them as an Account Handler within their UK Specialty business.
Account Handler – Key duties
You will focus on servicing existing clients as well as striving to acquire and win new business. They are therefore seeking a capable individual with prior commercial insurance experience.
Key areas of focus:
Take care of incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.
Review the demands and needs of customer and advise on the most appropriate insurances to meet their demands and needs.
Increase client base wherever possible.
Convert insurance needs to sales.
Cross sell insurance wherever possible.
Lead and process client new business, renewals, midterm adjustments and lapses in accordance with current procedures and FCA requirements.
Liaise with Insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of client’s insurance needs.
Prepare customer reports on both new and existing risks to support the commercial lines manager/supervisor.
Account Handler – Commercial Schemes Insurance – Key requirements
Commercial insurance experience ideally in respect of schemes business.
Ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business/client relationships.
Understanding of broking and underwriting process.
Highly organised, with good planning skills.
Able to work flexibly to achieve tight deadlines/targets.
Completion of / progress towards CII
