As a Financial Controller you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Director. What will you do as a Financial Controller?

* Banking and payments to customer and suppliers & bank reconciliations

* Working with several businesses and bank accounts

* Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger

* Credit control and chasing outstanding debt

* Carrying out month end tasks and completion of monthly reporting

* VAT returns, processing expenses

* Assisting with year-end / month end preparation

* Managing company credit card expenses

What do you need as a Financial Controller?

* Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Excel suite

* Either a part qualified ACCA accountant or qualified

* Technical accounting expertise in particular balance sheet and profit and loss accounting

* Excellent organisational skills and an eye for accuracy and detail

* Confident and a professional telephone manner to deal with customers/suppliers and other business partners.
