Import Operator required to join an industry leader within the multimodal freight and brokerage market at their head office located in Basildon.

Our client provides a variety of services to include FCL and LCL, Rail, Road and Air Freight as well as Customs Brokerage and Warehousing to name a few. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading business within the Freight sector and to have the opportunity to learn and develop your career within Logistics.

Import Operator - Position Overview

Assist with all aspects of looking after the FCL movements (e.g., China, US to the UK)
Liaison with the company's China Offices.
Ensure regular communication with all local UK suppliers
Communicate with customs department in order to arrange customs clearances
Dealing with the company's other 3PL warehouses as and when required
Liaison with local transport companies in order to organise final end deliveries

Import Operator - Position Requirements

Knowledge of import customs entry
Bills of Lading experience
Excellent customer service experience Import Operator - Position Remuneration

Salary - Circa £25K - £30K
Monday to Friday
08:30am - 17:30pm
