Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for a permanent position in Rotherham.

Salary is £45,000 per annum.

The main function of this role will be designing and testing electrical control panels.

Training will be given in commissioning and writing PLC software.

Responsibilities:

Undertake all work activities safely, ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
To always act in a professional manner to develop designs which are aligned with the principles, strategy and goals of the business and expectations of the customer.
Work to timescales with a production system to allow projects to complete to plan.
To review requirements documentation for each contract as it arises, ensuring that objectives and technical specifications are clearly defined and understood.
Generate electrical schematics, bills of material and production documents.
Where necessary, compile training manuals and facilitate Customer training session.Ideally the successful candidate will:

Have an understanding of PLC's and control systems.
Have experience or understanding of defining and developing electrical systems for bespoke equipment.Experience with E-Plan is desirable but experience with AutoCAD is essential.
