Water Treatment Engineer

Location: West Midlands but travel excepted further
Salary: Up to £30,000 + Van & Fuel Card

Are you an experienced Water Treatment Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? TSR is recruiting for a skilled professional to join a well-established environmental contractor, ensuring high water hygiene and treatment standards across commercial and industrial sites in the West Midlands and surrounding areas.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in water sampling, temperature monitoring, Legionella risk assessments, closed system analysis, and system chlorination.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Legionella risk assessment reviews, ensuring compliance with L8 & ACoP guidelines
Conduct cold water storage tank inspections, cleaning, and chlorination
Perform water sampling, temperature monitoring, and microbiological testing
Service and maintain closed water systems, including inhibitor dosing and system flushing
Undertake endoscopic inspections of calorifiers to assess internal condition
Carry out TMV servicing, descaling of shower heads/hoses, and mains injection chlorination
Complete pipework chlorination and closed system disinfections
Ensure all paperwork and compliance documentation is completed accurately
Identify and report non-compliance issues, working with clients to implement remedial solutions
Maintain excellent Health & Safety standards at all times

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Experience in water treatment, Legionella control, and closed system maintenance
✔ Technical knowledge of water hygiene regulations, closed systems, TMVs, calorifiers, and dosing units
✔ Full UK Driving Licence – Essential for site travel
✔ Attention to detail – Ability to ensure compliance with industry regulations
✔ Proactive and professional attitude – Able to work independently and as part of a team
