An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the Technical & Engineering Team to lead, manage and mentor a team responsible for the development and delivery of new to world / new to business Sustainable Solutions. Assume technical and commercial responsibility for the developed and delivered solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Technical Authority for developed sustainable solutions
• Pro-active development and management of continual improvement strategies and efficiencies
• Pro-active development and management of the teams KPI’s & SLA’s
• Pro-active management of Team personal development
• Responsibility for department budget and expenditure
• Governance of team performance, behaviours, processes, procedures and outputs
• Manage and publish team metrics for proposal activity, project milestones, margin etc.
Experience:
• Excellent working knowledge of Engineered products, applications, systems and processes.
• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Experience of developing and managing complex, high value packaged solution projects.
• Excellent knowledge of design codes, best practice and regulatory requirements for developed sustainable solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements for the delivery and installation of developed sustainable solutions.
• Experience of developing and managing a multi disciplined team.
• Previous experience in similar role, person management and or technical management.
• Practical experience of sustainable solution development.
Skills:
• Qualified in engineering discipline, alternatively a proven track record of working in a similar business/industry
• Registration in an appropriate professional body/institute e.g. IET, IMechE etc.
• CEng /IEng professionally register (preferred)
• Demonstrable ability to work under pressure
• Excellent Decision-making ability
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and motivate team members
• Desire to drive continual improvement within the team
