Data Analyst – Fully Remote – Financial & Technology Sectors

My client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team and support data-driven decision-making across Technology, Finance, Operations, and Product. This role is perfect for a self-motivated, analytical thinker who enjoys solving business challenges with data.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting & Data Automation

Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards to support business functions

Ensure accuracy and consistency in data reporting across the organisation

Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes

Business Insights & Ad Hoc Analysis

Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide actionable insights

Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover trends and opportunities across key business areas

Support strategic decision-making with data-backed recommendations

Data Engineering & Analytics Growth

Write and optimise SQL queries to extract and transform data

Assist in developing scalable data pipelines and workflows

Gain exposure to analytics engineering, data engineering, and data science over time

What We’re Looking For:

Proficiency in SQL – ability to write efficient queries

Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis

Experience with Looker Studio (or similar BI tools) for reporting & visualisation

Strong Excel skills for quick data analysis

A problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently

Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into analytical solutions
