Job Title: Warehouse / Procurement Operative

Location: Lowestoft

Days of work: Monday to Friday

Pay : £24k - £29k

Major Recruitment are recruiting for a permanent experienced Warehouse / Procurement Operative for a well-known client in Lowestoft, you must have a FLT licence for this role and your own transport.

QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING:

Forklift license and experience
Dangerous goods license ( preferred )
Experience working in a Warehouse environment
IT Skills

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

Focal point for all inbound / outbound deliveries
Ensure stores are compliant and maintain the organisation of the facility
Maintain Stock Control Provide support to the purchasing team

KEY WORK AREAS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Line checking inbound stock against delivery notes and perform goods receipts
Arranging outbound delivery to Vessels
Maintain stock control through storage / labeling / counting
Ability to create purchase orders to support the Lowestoft BuyerPERSONAL QUALITIES/CHARACTERISTICS:

Ability to work on own initiative or part of a team, and under pressure
Mature, professional approach to work
Patience in order to work to tight deadlines
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong professional skillTransport is required due to the location of the client.
