Our client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for an experienced CMM Operator. As a CMM Operator you will ultimately be responsible for the set up and operation of the business's CMM machinery.

The role is a perm role on weekend days.

This role is a maternity cover vacancy.

Reporting directly to the Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the safe operation of CMM machinery.

*

Understanding of the principles of CMM and their usage.

*

Produce components in line with customer requirements.

*

Ensure product quality and batch traceability at all times.

*

Carry out checks on equipment.

*

Ensure all documentation is recorded accurately.

*

Editing of programs (alignment and features).

*

Quality Audit support.

To be successful in the role of CMM Operator, you will possess the following qualities:

*

Experience of working on CMM machinery.

*

Proficient in PC DMIS.

*

Good literacy and numeracy.

*

Understanding of engineering drawings.

*

Able to work weekends.

*

Hold a FLT license (advantageous).

This position is based near Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster, and Stourbridge.
