Michael page are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic client looking to hire a dedicated Finance Analyst who will assist in financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. This role will also analyse financial data and create financial models for stakeholders.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Finance Analyst will include:

Analyse results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
Identify financial status by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and budgetsProfile

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

Proven experience in a similar financial analyst role ideally an FP&A background
Active studier working towards CIMA/ ACCA
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting software
Strong analytical and data gathering skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills

A competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, based on experience
