Marine Insurance Broker – City of London
Base Salary 60k, Bonus (10%) Company Car, PMI and flex benefits
Overview of the Position
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and business stakeholders.
• Create and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy for marine insurance
products.
• Oversee a diverse portfolio of marine cargo insurance accounts, ensuring client
satisfaction and retention.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving
issues promptly.
• To lead the team for which the job holder is responsible.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals, endorsements, and renewals, ensuring
compliance with industry standards.
• To acquire and improve over time an accurate understanding of the operational risk
exposures of prospects and clients within a specific customer group.
• To help prospects and clients arrive at their own conclusions by undertaking reviews of
risk and insurance programmes and recommending cost-effective solutions or options.
• To design, build and implement risk and insurance programmes.
• Conduct regular meetings and presentations to understand client needs and provide
tailored insurance solutions.
• To identify new products and services based on emerging needs within a specific
customer group
• To avoid errors and omissions or mitigate their impact by earliest reporting of potential
