Days, Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm, Friday finish at 2.30pm

£70k + up to 10% bonus, pension, 34 days holiday

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge, within a leading, international manufacturing company?

Our client is an international renowned, family owned business who are looking for a Head of Manufacturing to lead their manufacturing and warehouse site. The purpose of this role is to ensure all manufacturing and warehouse operations perform effectively and continually strive to improve.

As Head of Manufacturing you responsibilities will include;

* Managing a team of around 35, with scope for this to double in the next 18 24 months

* Managing the manufacturing, warehouse, production planning, logistics planning and maintenance operations

* Implementing best manufacturing practices

* Deliver all manufacturing SPQDC KPI’s

* Fostering a team first culture, with high morale and high performance

* Ensure highly skilled teams are in place through talent planning/training

* H&S

* Establishing quality rightfirst time culture and processes within manufacturing

* Lead manufacturing through a planned site expansion project

* Ensuring inventory and warehouse is effectively managed

* Develop and deliver the site’s Annual Operating budget

The ideal candidate will possess the following;

* Previous experience within a similar senior position, leading teams, people development & HR procedure capabilities

* Ability to manage teams of around 60

* H&S & QMS experience

* Experience of implementing site improvement plans

* Implementation of Lean Manufacturing techniques

* Managing change projects

* CI

* Budget Management

* Supply & Demand planning

* Multisite (inter-company) warehouse & supply chain within global company

As the Head of Manufacturing you will work standard days Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm and 8.30am-2.30pm on Fridays.

This role is paying a salary of around £70k + up to 10% bonus, with 33-34 days holiday & pension.
