Job Title: Shift Maintenance Engineer

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol

Salary: £46,000

Hours: 07:00-15:30 (Days Role) + Call out rota 1 in 4 weeks 

Role Summary

As a Mechancial Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal plant performance and operational efficiency. Working within a high-performing team, you will contribute to the ongoing success of a modern, high-tech facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.

- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to reduce downtime.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.

- Adhere to health & safety regulations and ensure compliance with company procedures.

- Work collaboratively within a multi-skilled team to meet operational targets.

Requirements

- Experience in Mechanical engineering with the process/manufacturing industry. – City & Guilds / NVQ 3 / HNC (or equivalent) in relevant Engineering discipline

- Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management systems.

- Fully conversant with instrument loop drawing and P&IDs

- Able to think logically and solve problems effectively and efficiently.
