White Label are recruiting again for one of our longest standing clients, who are expanding enormously at the moment with many exciting opportunities ahead.

The Lead Engineer is now seeking a Design Engineer to help drive the department forward.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multinational company with so much progression opportunity. The role itself if extremely hands on and varied, with both design and manufacturing elements which will expand this persons knowledge and experience grossly. The role is based in Carlisle.

The role:

* Produce / modify drawings using CAD (Solid Works) & (Solidworks PDM)

* Engineering support to all departments (R&D builds or customer machines) concerned with project delivery and field service

* Work to engineering project plan

* Produce, update, maintain bills of materials with IFS

* Cost reduction initiatives (VAE)

The Engineer:

* Degree/ HNC/ Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering

* CAD design, workshop machine building, use of MRP/ERP systems.

* Work under own initiative, in cross functional teams with a “can do” attitude

* Tenacious desire to learn more and push boundaries to succeed. Problem solving and analysis

The salary on offer is £30k-45k, 25 days holiday, company pension scheme, and the opportunity to progress and develop within this growing team.
