Maintenance Technician – Refrigeration
Location: South London (Mobile Role)
Salary: Starting from £44,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
Contract: Permanent
 
About the Role
We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Technician – Refrigeration to join our team based in Mitcham. This mobile role will involve covering various sites across South London, providing vital maintenance and support services.
 
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have one of the following qualifications:

C&G Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (6187)
Level 2 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
C&G FGAS and ODS Regulations (2079) (Safe handling of Refrigerants Certificate)
Formal apprenticeship or equivalent craft training Additional Requirements:

A valid driving license
Familiarity with using technology to log jobs
On-call availability
Industry experience (desirable)
Strong ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Please note: DBS and DVLA checks will be required for this position.
 
Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Wellbeing policies, relevant Technical Guidance, statutory regulations, and Approved Codes of Practice
Implement new or updated practices and policies in your work areas
Conduct scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance as directed by planners or supervisors
Perform duties that may include testing, inspection, fault-finding, minor repairs, and installations, particularly in critical environments and commercial sites
Support cross-functional tasks as needed, even outside your primary discipline
Evaluate complex issues to determine solutions and communicate technical details effectively to stakeholders Benefits
