MIG Welder

Location: Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire

Pay Rate: £18-£20 p/h

Employment Type: Ongoing work

We are recruiting MIG Welders for a new contract in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire on behalf of our client. You will be working on recalled vehicles, fitting bolts below the driver’s seat.

The Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for:

* Replacing bolts beneath vehicle seats as part of a recall project.

* Removing seats and carpets, welding new bolts in place, applying anti-rust spray, and refitting all components.

* Performing repetitive tasks with precision to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will have:

* A valid MIG Welding certificate.

* Previous experience as a MIG Welder, Panel Technician, or MET Technician is highly desirable.

* A qualification as a Vehicle Technician would be a strong advantage.

* An eye for detail, as well as the ability to perform repetitive work to a high standard.
