Position: Nursery Chef
Location: Borehamwood
Salary: From £29,000
Hours: Full-time, Part-time available, 40 hours a week on full-time basis

Do you have the skills to lead a busy nursery kitchen and contribute to the health and well-being of the little ones? If so, we want you to join our team as a Nursery Chef! At Insight Education we’re excited to partner with a lovely nursery to find a passionate Nursery Chef to help support the health and happiness of their children.

Key Responsibilities of Nursery chef:

Prepare and serve balanced, wholesome meals and snacks tailored to children's nutritional needs.

*

Create menus that comply with dietary guidelines and accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions.

*

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.

*

Manage kitchen stock and place orders as needed.

*

Collaborate with nursery staff to ensure meals align with daily schedules and activities.

Requirements:

* Food and Hygiene Safety Certification Level 2 or above essential.

* Previous experience cooking in a domestic or commercial business.

* DBS or willingness to undergo one.

* Passionate about cooking!
