We’re looking for a Head of Anchor RPS to drive operational excellence and shape the future of Anchor Repairs and Property Services (Anchor RPS), our brand new subsidiary. This is your chance to lead an exciting new venture, delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and compliance services to Anchor residents. Anchor is the largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for older people in England.

About the Role:

As the Head of Anchor RPS, you’ll have the unique opportunity to build and lead a high-performing team, creating a bold new standard of service. Working in partnership with our key contractor, you’ll oversee the safe delivery of a range of projects—from exceptional responsive maintenance to planned refurbishments—all while driving innovation, efficiency, and value for money for Anchor’s residents.

Your strategic input will help shape the future of Anchor RPS, developing and implementing both short- and long-term goals to drive growth, improve services, and create meaningful impact for our residents.

What Makes This Role Exciting?

- Be at the forefront of innovation: Lead a fresh initiative where your decisions directly shape our service offering and operational structure.

- Collaborate with industry leaders: Work closely with top-tier partners to push the boundaries of property services in social housing.

- Build something lasting: Develop a team, a culture, and a legacy that will deliver exceptional services to residents for years to come.

- A pivotal role: You’ll be a key player in delivering critical repairs services to our residents, with the freedom to implement your ideas and drive real change.

What You'll Do:

- Spearhead the operational and commercial success of Anchor RPS, ensuring all projects meet or exceed KPIs, safety standards, and quality expectations.

- Develop and mentor a team of high-calibre professionals, instilling a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer service.

- Collaborate with our contractor to ensure service delivery aligns with strategic goals, overseeing everything from void management to major refurbishments.

- Deliver regular, transparent reports to the Anchor RPS Board, keeping everyone aligned on the goals and progress.

- Drive long-term success: Develop sustainable strategies that will ensure the subsidiary's growth and contribution to Anchor’s broader mission.

- Ensure a safe, productive, and cost-effective operation, protecting the company’s assets and enhancing cash flow.

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience in managing large-scale operations in the social housing sector.

- A strong commercial acumen with a track record of balancing operational demands with financial objectives and resident satisfaction.

- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams through change.

- An entrepreneurial mindset, always looking for innovative ways to improve service delivery and efficiency.

- Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience) and preferably working towards RICS/CIOB accreditation.

Why Join Us?

- Be part of a brand-new venture with a chance to make your mark and define what success looks like.

- Lead a company that’s committed to improving the quality of life for its residents, with the freedom to innovate and drive real change.

- Enjoy a competitive salary, performance incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.

If you’re a dynamic, forward-thinking leader who thrives on building something new and making a lasting impact, we want to hear from you!
