A lovely school in Slough are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in their primary school, supporting children across KS1 and KS2. In Teaching Assistant role, you will support children in a year group and class during lessons. As a Teaching Assistant, you will also get the opportunity to be trained in and run interventions in speech and language, spellings and times tables for SEN children.

Confident supporting children across different primary age groups (Year 1 - Year 6)
Passionate about supporting children in lessons
Professional or personal experience supporting children with SEN, ASD or ADHD
Proactive and adaptable to meet the needs of the childrenKey responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

Provide help to children in the lessons where they are struggling with a topic
Help the Teacher manage behaviour and distractions
Run interventions outside of the classroom in speech and language, spellings and timetables
Foster an inclusive and supportive environment where every child feels valued and understood
