Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter
Location: South East region
Salary: Up to £42,000 plus van
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a growing team, primarily working in the water industry across the South East.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Dismantle and inspect mechanical equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc.).
·Diagnose faults using state-of-the-art tools.
·Repair and refurbish equipment to top standards.
·Install and remove equipment on-site, tackling unique environments like confined spaces, heights, and water/sewerage systems.
·Work across industries with a focus on the water sector.
 
Ideal Candidate Profile:
·At least 5 years' experience in Mechanical Fitting (Apprenticeship a plus!).
·Full UK driving licence.
·Understanding of on-site health & safety rules.
·Confined space and water hygiene knowledge (training available).
·Team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
