We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced production planner to join a market leading engineering company in the central Wolverhampton area, Working on a static day shift pattern the role will involve but not be limited to the below requirements.
* Planning workload for production using raw material arrival dates and scheduling workload according to due dates.
* Capacity planning for workload required hours against available hours and overtime planning.
* Using the internal MRP system to record accurate information and plan against active projects
* Reporting progress to customers
* Attending weekly production meetings.
* Use of Microsoft products Project, Excel and Word
* Planning and Scheduling of workload for specific machines liasing with different departments on capacity and availability.
