Quality Inspector – Company Overview

Our client is a market leading manufacturer who are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Inspector to join their quality team. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance, especially in a demanding environment where precision is paramount.

The Quality Inspector will support the quality team through various inspection techniques, ensuring that a diverse range of products meets all regulatory and customer specifications.

Quality Inspector – Key Responsibilities

* Conduct thorough inspections to verify compliance with drawings and documentation, generating detailed inspection reports and First Article Inspection Reports.

* Oversee and maintain calibration systems to ensure they meet regulatory standards.

* Actively participate in the Non-Conformance and Return Material Authorisation processes, including raising quality alerts, quarantining, and scrapping parts when necessary.

* Perform in-depth investigations on quality issues, propose and implement containment actions.

* Support root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions, and recommend process improvements where applicable.

* Address quality-related concerns with both customers and suppliers, maintaining clear and effective communication.

Quality Inspector – Position Requirements

* HNC or an equivalent qualification in a technical field related to quality or engineering.

* Proven experience in quality inspection, ideally within aerospace, defence, or automotive.

* Familiarity with quality standards (AS9100/AS9120, ISO9001).

* Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment, with a solid understanding of technical drawings.

* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

* Self-motivated team player with a proactive attitude towards achieving results.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

* Effective communicator at all levels.
