Our home in Colchester is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy working in a kitchen environment and want to contribute to the well-being of our residents, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilties:

* an assist the Chef in preparing and serving meals that are nutritious, appetizing, and tailored to meet the dietary needs of our residents.

* Help with the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning food.

* Assist in the storage and rotation of food supplies, ensuring that all stock is properly labelled and stored.

* Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment after meals, ensuring that everything is cleaned to the highest standard.

* Requirements:

* Previous experience working as Kitchen assistant - minimum 6 months

* Effective communication & interception skills

* Must have a child & adult DBS on update service.
