Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Transport Co-ordinator for one of our clients based in West Bromwich. This position requires a strong understanding of transport operations, business processes, and transport management systems. The Transport Coordinator will be responsible for daily transport diary management and driver liaison.

Transport Co-ordinator Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate daily transport operations

Diary Management including booking MOTS, Inspections, repairs & maintenance

Producing reports

Driving licence checks

Answering inbound calls

Stock Checks on ADR Bag equipment

Transport Co-ordinator Details:

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 PA

Location: West Bromwich (B70)

Schedule: 07:00AM – 4:00PM (Mon-Thu) 07:30AM – 2:30PM (Fri)

Transport Co-ordinator Requirements:

Prior experience in a transport role

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives

Previous experience of working in transport and managing the movements of HGV vehicles

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
