Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Start Date: October Start

Salary: £85-£100 per day (Part Time & Full Time Available)

TeacherActive are excited to be recruiting experienced SEND Teaching Assistants / TAs to join our supply team across schools in Exeter. We have a wide range of Long Term, Short Term, and Day to Day opportunities available. You'll be working with students across different age groups and educational needs, including 1:1 and small group interventions. 

Schools in Exeter are looking for dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants / TAs with experience in SEND, who are proactive and skilled in supporting students with complex learning needs, behaviour management, and assisting with Learning Outside The Classroom / LOTC activities. 

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant / TA will have:

Experience in education / tutoring / health & social care as a Teaching Assistant or Support Assistant
A flexible approach to supporting students in varied educational environments
Experience supporting SEND students, especially those with ASD / SEMH / PMLD / MLD
