What you'll be doing;
Perform preventative maintenance on various electrical systems (cranes, grabs, inverters, transformers, switchgear, etc.)
Diagnose and repair electrical faults across multiple systems
Design, install and commission electrical circuits
Interface with PLC controllers and demonstrate understanding of their operation
Maintain and troubleshoot rotating equipment, motors, pumps, and conveyors
Work with motorized valves and associated control gear
Proficiently use electrical test equipment, workshop tools, and machinery
Utilise computerized Maintenance Management systems and implement preventative maintenance procedures
Report, diagnose, and remedy plant defects while proposing improvements
Supervise company and contractor staff
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment while adhering to company health, safety, environmental, and quality systems
What we're looking for;
Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent with detailed knowledge of maintenance techniques
Possess relevant maintenance qualifications, with 18th Edition certification being advantageous
Ability to diagnose faults on electrical and mechanical systems
Experience in a continuous process industry
Capable of performing manual handling tasks
Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization
Willing to work weekends and out-of-hours when required, including being on-call
Computer literate and able to learn computerised maintenance systems
Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
Flexible team player with strong problem-solving skills and effective oral and written communication abilities
