Reporting to the Sales Director, the BDM plays a crucial role in driving business growth through lead generation and sales. This role is essential for expanding the client’s UK operations, particularly focusing on promoting a comprehensive range of L&D services. This hybrid role requires travel to their office 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities
* Proactively seek out and develop new business opportunities, promoting a diverse range of learning solutions and services
* Generate leads through various channels including cold calling, emails, social media, and industry events
* Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline, with a focus on developing long-term relationships and building a portfolio of clients
* Engage in consultative selling, understanding client needs and aligning solutions to deliver value
* Translate client requirements into effective solutions, creating value through tailored learning services
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to secure long-term partnerships
* Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless client solutions
* Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, providing regular updates on performance and ensuring CRM systems are fully up-to-date

Education
* Any L&D related qualifications are desirable but not essential
Experience
* Demonstrable experience in identifying and securing new clients
* Experience in a consultative sales environment, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering appropriate solutions
* Experience in selling L&D or HR solutions to senior stakeholders
* A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and commercial KPIs
