Secondary Maths Teacher – Leicester (Ofsted ‘Good’, Oversubscribed School)

Start date: Either September 2025 or ASAP.

Pay: MPS/UPS Dependant on experience 

GSL Education is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Secondary Maths Teacher to join a highly regarded Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ and oversubscribed school in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a thriving, well-resourced environment where students are eager to learn.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to KS3 & KS4 students.

Plan differentiated lessons to support students of all abilities, including those with SEND and high-achievers.

Assess and track student progress, providing targeted interventions where necessary.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes high expectations.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential.

DBS on the Update Service – Mandatory.

Strong subject knowledge with the ability to bring Maths to life.

A passion for raising student attainment and engagement.

Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.
