Our client, based in Houghton Le Spring, is looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.
Hours of work would be Monday to Friday 08.00am-4.00pm (40 hours).
Salary - up to £35,000 depending upon experience.
Duties will include:
* Engineering duties; stripping, cleaning and rebuilding fans and pumps
* Fitting ladder racks and cable containment
* Stripping down machinery and relocating it
* Daily planned maintenance
* Assisting with breakdowns
* Alongside Maintenance duties there will also be days where labouring is required, such as moving equipment within the factory and housekeeping duties
Requirements:
* Maintenance and/or Fitting background
* Comfortable with heavy lifting
* Problem solving skills
* Safety awareness
