Summary

SPS Technologies are working in partnership as they look to increase their team. Due to retirement of long-standing employees and a large aerospace contract, they need additional machinists to join the team on a permanent basis.

The Company

The company are an aerospace engineering company that manufacture nuts, bolts, screws and fasteners to the likes of Rolls Royce and Airbus. They offer a great package with competitive pay and an extensive list of benefits.

The Job

Operating various machines with the chance to become multiskilled.
Using various measuring gauges - verniers, shadow graphs etc
Reading and working from engineering drawings.
Working to customer specifications
General Housekeeping duties

The Candidate

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment OR Engineering qualification

Mechanically minded

Must be clearly conversant in English

Physically fit as there is a lot of manual work

Must be organised and able to work to a process and ensure stock is moved correctly in specific batches
