THE BUSINESS
My client is a well-established machining business with the capability to supply products to a wide range of customers in Oil & Gas, Aerospace and Nuclear. They have developed a strong continuous improvement culture and are continuously investing in new equipment across all departments.

Recently, they have invested heavily in their machine shop and metrology room and are set for a record year. In addition, they are winning new contracts and are set to see an increase in volumes over the next 12 months.

THE ROLE

* With the acquisition of a new business you will be programming a range of new parts on to the system

* You will be responsible for inspection of all parts and components on a major work transfer project

* You will be completing documentation on parts and components similar to FAIR or PPAP

* You will be contributing to capability studies on products to be transferred to the new machine shop

* You will conduct inspections of goods inward components and materials

* You will be a confident and experienced CMM programmer

* You will have calibration experience and knowledge of measurement techniques

THE PERSON

* You will be able to work as part of a team with a focus on good communication

* You will be a PC-DMIS Programmer although candidates with experience programming other software such as MCOSMOS, Camio, Modus etc will be welcomed

* This role is suited to CMM Programmers who like to be busy and to feel like you are having a direct impact on the business
