Are you a Project Manager with a knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry? If so, our client who designs and manufactures production line equipment for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries are keen to recruit a Project Manager to manage all aspects of a variety of projects from large production lines to small tabletop units. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects in a technical environment ideally with extended project life cycles.

37.5 hours per week on flexitime basis
23 days holiday plus discretionary days and bank holidays

Duties:

Manage all aspects and types of projects through the business
Meet overall project objectives for quality, delivery and cost
Manage & resolve key project risks & issues
Maintain a clear understanding of the current scope of work throughout the project and manage the commercial impact of any changes
Work with internal departments to ensure projects run smoothly and that technical information is passed on correctly
Liaise with customers and suppliers on technical issues
Travel to customer sites worldwide on occasion.

Requirements:

Must have an understanding of project engineering
Experience of managing projects in a technical environment
Experience of extended project life cycles
Experience gained within the pharmaceutical industry or production machinery manufacturing industry would be beneficial
An understanding of good manufacturing practice and validation principles would be an advantage
Must have a systematic approach to work and be excellent at relationship building
Product training will be given on specialist machinery and equipment
Must be willing to undertake overseas travel on occasion
