Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Mitcham, London

Remuneration: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours) in the office.

Our client, a leading retail organisation, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team with various administrative and financial tasks.

Monitoring daily communications and promptly addressing any queries
Ensuring the accuracy of payments, amounts, and records
Working with spreadsheets, sales, and purchase ledgers to maintain accurate records
Recording and filing cash transactions
Controlling credit and following up on debt collection
Processing invoices and maintaining filing systems
Handling expense requests and assisting with bank reconciliation
Collaborating with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers
Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft, and has great phone manner

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be responsible for processing orders and credits, as well as handling customer queries through email and telephone.

The ideal candidate for this role would have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an accounts environment, and possess excellent Excel skills
