To provide high quality one to one care, companionship or support for the elderly or disabled living in their own homes. To follow a care plan to deliver this care ad support and follow a 4 weekly rota. To be able to complete daily records and report any concerns to the office.
Full training and support given. Shadowing and competancy check before been put on shift. To work on 2 set runs on a 2 weeks cycle. Availability to pick up extra shifts should it be required.
Probationary Period
The probationary period last 3 months and during this period the rates of pay, as of April 2023 are;
Rate 1 from 6.30am to 6.30 pm is £11.44
Rate 2 from 6.30pm to 6.30 am is £12.44
After 3 months the rates increase to;
Rate 1 from 6.30am to 6.30 pm is £13.00
Rate 2 from 6.30pm to 6.30 am is £13.75
At the end of the three month’s you will have a review and then shopuld there be no concerns you will be moved to the higher pay.
Travel Time
We pay travel time from leaving your first client to arriving at your last client at £11.44 as a driver
Attendance allowance/bonus/Clothing Allowance
Attendance allowance/bonus is paid after completing a full rota of shifts in the month, if you do not work the hours accepted by you then it is not paid.
The rates are as follows;
From 10-16 hours £25.00 per month
From 16-24 hours £45.00 per month
From 24-34 hours £67.50 per month
From 34 hours + £90.00
Staff picking up 2 or more shifts a month to cover will receive an extra £20.00.
Staff picking up 2 or hours will receive an extra £15.00 per month
