We are currently looking for a Document Controller to join a market-leading specialist subcontractor working on medium to large sized contracts across the UK.

The company have been operating for over 30 years. They have a wide and varied client base and a long pipeline of work for the coming year ahead.

About the Role:

To provide support to the various Departments of the Company in document control, with particular emphasis on electronic or web-based documents, assisting Design Office Administrator/Document Controller in office activities to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Responsibilities:

Working with the design department to download from various internet based or electronic drawing repositories such drawings and/or documents as are required for a specific tender or contract.
Issue drawings and/or documents to customers as required either manually or by electronic upload together with maintenance of the required drawing issue registers.
Working with a designer to learn specific applications of materials (Ceilings, Partitions and Flooring etc).
Maintenance of contract files, drawings, and documentation.
Assist within the design office preparation and issue of As Built drawings.
Photocopying and scanning as necessary.
To undertake other duties, ad hoc projects and mandatory training as required by the business.Qualifications & skills:

Experience of working in a similar position in an office environment.
Experience of working within the construction industry.
Ability to understand the manner in which drawings and documents are created and distributed in an electronic environment.
Either: Aconex, Asite, 4Project, Bim 360, Data Q, proficient. Points of Appeal:

One day p/w hybrid working.
