For this role, you will need:

Experience of supporting people with profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex health care needs

Experience in providing practical, hands on support with personal care, moving and handling, PEG feed, suctioning and Epilepsy ( candidates that are successful will receive full training)

To be  an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills  , experience with non-verbal individuals would be an advantage

To maintain confidentiality at all times and handle sensitive information appropriately

To be responsive and adaptable to the changing needs of our project

To  have excellent record keeping skills

Personal Characteristics

Diploma in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards one.

The ability to keep calm under pressure.

The confidence to work alone or as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills

The passion to work with vulnerable adults

The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.
