As the Menswear Designer:

Stay passionate about new and emerging trends, continuously identifying fresh opportunities and injecting newness into the range.
Keep a close eye on consumer preferences, competitor strategies, and market developments to ensure relevance in product offerings.
Collaborate closely with Buyers and Merchandisers to create well-balanced and commercially successful ranges, ensuring stock turnover and sales growth.
Analyze Monday trade data to inform decisions and drive actions based on current trading performance.
Work to a clear option count with the Buyer and Merchandiser, ensuring upcoming ranges are thoughtfully curated and balanced.
Support the wider team by attending all fit sessions and offering valuable input on design, fit, and product development.
Clearly communicate design ideas and concepts to the supply base, ensuring accurate product development and execution.
Motivate and develop your team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Build cohesive product ranges with a high level of quality, ensuring both creativity and commercial viability.
Safeguard and elevate the brand's reputation by focusing on maintaining high standards in construction, fabric quality, and overall design.
Demonstrate strong technical design skills, including hand drawing, sketching, and creating your own CADs, to communicate design concepts effectively.
Foster strong, genuine internal relationships across teams, working collaboratively with garment techs, suppliers, and other departments to ensure fit, quality, and practicality are prioritised.Extra Details as the Menswear Designer:
