Afternoon Shift

15:00 – 00:00 Monday to Thursday.

Saturdays are over time.

Pay

Afternoon Shift - £21.06/hour + Overtime (time + half)

Duties include:

* Coded welding in the following processes TIG/MIG/MAG/FCAW/SAW.

* Weld thicknesses from 8 – 50mm, which are capable of passing Visual, MPI and UT.

* Working from engineering drawings with minimum supervision.

the initial weld test will be a 20mm thick carbon steel, single sided butt weld. TIG root and 2nd pass, few layers of MAG, few layers of FCAW. The TIG/MAG will be I the down hand position, FCAW will be vertical up.

Qualifications:

* NVQ, City & Guilds or BTEC Engineering qualification – with valid certificate copy to be shown.

* All candidates will be required to successfully complete a T Fillet and V butt in the downhand and vertical up positions.
