Role: Deputy Manager
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
 
We are partnering with a leading care provider to recruit a Deputy Home Manager for a luxurious, state-of-the-art care home set to open in December 2024 in the prestigious West End of Glasgow. This brand-new, purpose-built facility will offer exceptional nursing, dementia, and respite care.
 
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and compassionate leader to join a new team and help shape the future of the home from the very beginning. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in implementing high standards of care and overseeing all aspects of the home’s operations. You’ll have the opportunity to help create a nurturing, professional environment for both staff and residents, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and stepping into the Home Manager role when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction to staff, ensuring adherence to the company's values and mission.
Oversee the delivery of high-quality, personalised care for residents.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including health and safety protocols.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting the home within the local community.
Support the continuous development and improvement of staff through training and performance management.
Provide clinical oversight and ensure the implementation of best practices.
Be available for on-call duties when necessary. 
Qualifications & Experience:

Management qualification or equivalent professional experience
Nursing qualification (desirable)
Proven management experience in a care setting
Full driving license (desirable)
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
