Carbon 60 is looking to recruit an Estates Maintenance Manager for its Public Sector client based in Southampton

Pay rate is £23.03-£25.13ph

Working hours are 7.30am to 4.15pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 3.15pm on Friday

Due to the nature of the role you will need access to your own transport

Your role will be to support the development and delivery of a high quality maintenance service, both planned and responsive, that will enable my client to meet its business objectives and the needs of all users and stakeholders. This will include the management of multi trade teams, overseeing day to day repair and maintenance process

You will need

HNC/NVQ3 or equivalent with, or working towards, IOSH level 3 or significant experience in construction or property management
The ability to follow my client's policies and procedures
A good commercial background with experience in customer based services with a working knowledge of social housing
Up to date knowledge of legislative frameworks
A good understanding of H&S issues
Computer literate
The ability to assist in the revision and development of policies, work programmes and business plans
To take accountability for your action and hold others to account
To have excellent communication skills, both oral and verbal
To be a confidant and effective decision maker
