Force Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of one of our very successful clients who provide specialist waterway framework projects as well as major Civils works for projects nationwide. They have experienced a period of sustained growth hence are looking for a Freelance Site Engineer to work on an upcoming large scale water infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Apply your knowledge and experience in civil engineering to ensure the successful Offer technical advice on a construction site for the delivery team, subcontractors, and operatives
* Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site from start to finish
* Check & review plans, drawings, specifications to ensure they are accurate and in line with project delivery
* Maintain detailed records of site activities, progress reports, completing ITP’s (inspection test plans) and as built surveys.
* Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to uphold the highest construction standards, this includes progress meetings with site management.
* Assist in planning the works with the project/site manager, helping to determine the required labour, plant & material resources so the project is delivered effectively and efficiently
* Supervising all aspects of health, safety, and environmental requirements on site and work with the H&S team to improve procedures
* Keeping clear and detailed site records for the duration of the project and presenting them to other team members and/or the client
* Produce as built records at the end of a project to form part of H&S file and to meet client requirements
* Identify and resolve site-related challenges and issues in a proactive manner.
Requirements:
* CSCS card
* SSSTS/SMSTS
* EUSR HSG47 (Cat & Genny)
* Temporary works supervisor

* First Aid at Work
* Medium risk confined space
* NRASWA
