Senior Business Development Specialist – Marketing Solutions

Due to continued sales growth, this 20+ year established marketing services agency is looking for a savvy, passionate and highly experienced sales individual who has a strong background in selling a range of marketing solutions including Marketing Print, POS, Promotional Merchandise, Creative and Online Digital Solutions such as: integrated campaigns, branding, websites, SEO, social media, video.

You will benefit from working for a business who as a group turnover £120million, has continued to grow organically year on year, encourages internal promotion and offers a full sales support structure from estimating and account management through to bid management, and not forgetting one of the best senior management teams in the industry that you will be reporting directly into.

As a Senior Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth and expansion. This role is best suited to someone who has prior experience in:

Working in a large print management environment

Has a background in selling manufactured and outsourced marketing solutions

Has targeted clients with spends of £100k+

Has excellent networking skills

Key duties:

Identifying New Opportunities: identify and develop new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services

Strategic Planning: develop, implement, and evaluate strategic business development plans to increase revenue and profitability

Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, distributors, and internal teams is essential

Market Research: to stay updated on industry trends and presenting findings to the team to develop targeted campaigns

Negotiation and Deal-Making: They negotiate contracts, close business deals, and manage business partnerships and alliances2.

Reporting: Preparing and presenting business proposals and pitches to potential clients, and reporting on successes and areas needing improvement to Directors
