TeacherActive are proud to be working with a primary school in Neath Port Talbot area who wish to appoint an enthusiastic excellent and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join them. The school are committed to building good relationships based on mutual respect and trust and this extends to the wider community. The successful candidate will work under the direction and guidance of the teaching and senior staff to support the learning of children and offer general support to staff and pupils. This is a full- time role starting in September and the successful candidate will be working in a Key Stage Two class (year group to be confirmed on appointment).

TeacherActive are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who:

Will have relevant experience of working with children (minimum of 6 months,
Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools,
Has knowledge of the New Curriculum,
Is enthusiastic and self-motivated,
Is able to support strategies aimed at maximizing learner outcomes,
Has good people/communication skills with adults and children,
Is caring, flexible and approachable,
Has the ability to work as part of a team. 
*This role also involves an additional 2.5 hours per week as a Lunchtime Supervisor.
