We have a great opportunity to work with our client based in Peterlee. The company requires a number of Production Operatives. The ideal candidate would have experience operating a fork lift truck however this is not essential.

The Production Operative role would initially start on a 2 shift pattern then move onto a 3 shift in time: Day shift Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.00pm, Backs 2.00pm-10.00pm and the night shift is Sunday-Thursday 10.00pm-6.00am.

The first 12 week probationary period is paid at: £12.13 for day shift and back shift, and the night shift rate is £14.56.

Pay from week 13 is: £12.50 for day shift and back shift and the night shift is £15.00 (£27,728 per annum)

Duties of the role include:

* Operating heavy plant Machinery

* Adhering to strict Health and safety procedures

* General housekeeping of the site

* Being able to use your own initiative

* Working closely with team members to ensure smooth running of the process

* Ability to react to changes in the process

* Operating Forklift to move products around the site (once trained)

Desired Experience:

* Experience operating a FLT
